One injured in gunfire in Railway station

Thiruvananthapuram : One person was injured as a service rifle belonging to a RPF personnel accidentally fired at the Railway station here today. 


Police said the injured was shifted to a private hospital in the city by the RPF authorities immediately after the incident.

The accident occurred when the RPF personnel was loading his service rifle inside the RPF room below the Reservation office.

The person, who is probably a railway passenger, was coming out of the Station when the bullet from the service rifle his back side.

However, the identity of the injured person and the RPF man is yet to be disclosed. (UNI)
